Shipments by Sea

Sea freight is a cost-effective way of sending your consignment to the other side of the world. For International moving our Customers can choose from sending their consignment in a 20 ft or 40 ft container for their sole use or can "share" a container with other Lawlers Group customers moving to the same destination. Sharing a container is particularly cost effective, if you are moving less than a full house.

The process to send a shipment direct by sea is relatively simple. After packing is completed, your Lawlers representative will have arranged for a container to be delivered to your home. Your household effects will be loaded straight into the container, which will then be sealed and trucked to the port.

If you are using the consolidation or shared load service, your consignment will be taken to a Lawlers consolidation centre and will be loaded into the container with other consignments travelling to the same destination.
